Hi, my name is Marcus Cole and I am VERY involved in youth soccer.
I have spent 27 years in soccer from playing (middle, high school and adult) to coaching (youth recreation, middle school and high school) to being a certified middle school and high school referee in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Iowa.
I am currently the President of the Kanawha City Soccer Club (KCSC) in Charleston, WV, the Youth At-Large Representative for West Virginia Soccer Association as well the Director of Cups & Games for the Kanawha Valley Soccer League in Charleston. I also coach my son’s recreation team and my daughter’s recreation team for KCSC.
I have very strong opinions about youth soccer and will be expressing them in this blog. I encourage your feedback to this blog. I look forward to hearing great ideas and sharing opinions.
